“The strength of demo­cracy lies in Con­sti­tu­tional val­ues, insti­tu­tions and in those lead­ers who are com­mit­ted to the val­ues of hon­esty, humil­ity, and pub­lic ser­vice,” he said.

Sinha said insti­tu­tions could gain strength only when they were infused with eth­ical lead­er­ship. Without eth­ical lead­er­ship, even strong insti­tu­tions could weaken

High­light­ing the con­tri­bu­tion of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabod­hini since its estab­lish­ment in 1982, Sinha said the insti­tu­tion had trained more than 60,000 par­lia­ment­ari­ans, legis­lat­ors, pan­chayat rep­res­ent­at­ives, entre­pren­eurs and youth in lead­er­ship and capa­city build­ing.

He said India’s future depended on address­ing seven key chal­lenges, includ­ing sus­tain­ing long-term eco­nomic growth, elim­in­at­ing ter­ror­ism and sep­ar­at­ism, strength­en­ing trans­par­ent and tech­no­logy-driven gov­ernance, ensur­ing merit-based p2p0odr­tiust­nrit­citessoinf
